Planet Coaster (& ALL DLC) Download

 Planet Coaster Introduction:

Planet Coaster is a simulation video game developed and published by Frontier Developments for Windows, first released globally on November 17, 2016. Frontier, known for their work in the amusement park construction and management genre with titles like RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Thrillville, Thrillville: Off the Rails, and Zoo Tycoon, created Planet Coaster as a spiritual successor to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. Later, on November 10, 2020, a version titled "Planet Coaster: Console Edition" was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, followed by a PlayStation 5 release in North America and Australia on November 12, 2020, and in Europe on November 19, 2020. Additionally, a macOS version, developed by Aspyr, became available on November 17, 2020, on Steam and the Mac App Store.

The game offers four different modes: Sandbox, Challenge, Career, and Scenario Editor. In Career mode, players take on the role of a theme park manager and complete tasks like constructing unfinished roller coasters or hiring janitors. Sandbox mode allows players to build their own theme park on an empty plot of land. Challenge mode, similar to Sandbox, adds difficulty by requiring players to manage funds. Scenario Mode, introduced in the 1.4.0 update on November 22, 2017, is akin to Career mode but allows players to customize their tasks in all saved parks.

Gameplay:

Originally named "Coaster Park Tycoon," the game was announced on January 29, 2015, and was later renamed during E3 2015. Planet Coaster marked Frontier's second self-published franchise, following Elite Dangerous. Before its official release in November 2016, the game underwent multiple alpha and beta tests. Post-launch, the game received both free and paid downloadable content. It garnered positive reviews from critics, particularly for its sandbox mode and creation tools, although its career mode faced some criticism. As of January 2020, the game had sold more than 2.5 million copies.

Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation game that allows players to create various theme park rides and roller coasters, which can be shared through a feature called the "global village." The game also includes ten mascots.

In the computer version, players begin by creating their own avatar, a feature not available in the Console versions. They can then choose from four game modes: sandbox, challenge, career, and scenario editor.

Sandbox Mode, reminiscent of Frontier's previous game RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, allows players to build their own theme park on an empty plot of land. In this mode, all game features and rides are unlocked, and players have unlimited funds. This mode is commonly used by players to create various park elements and share them on platforms like Steam's Planet Coaster Workshop or the Frontier Workshop on console versions.

Challenge Mode requires players to construct an amusement park on an empty lot, similar to Sandbox Mode, but with limited funds and research options based on the chosen difficulty level. As players develop their park, they face challenges that they can choose to accept or decline. Completing challenges rewards players with park rating boosts or monetary rewards.

Career Mode involves completing objectives such as building roller coasters, achieving park ratings, or hiring janitors. Similar to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Career Mode allows players to progress by completing scenarios with varying difficulties.

The game also features a unique "crash mode," introduced at EGX 2016, where players can construct incomplete coasters and watch them crash into the park's visitors.

Final Words:

On April 26, 2017, Frontier revealed previously undiscovered cheat codes on their official forums, including the ability to drive go-karts and allow security guards to plow through guests like bulldozers.

On November 22, 2017, the 1.4.0 update added the Scenario Editor mode, similar to Career Mode but allowing players to customize their objectives in all saved parks and share them on Steam's Planet Coaster Workshop.

The console edition differs from the PC/Mac version with features such as a tutorial, a revamped career mode with voice acting, and a counter informing players about how much they can place in their park.
